Third Swap - The Uni-Products Sponsored Fly Swap

Wow! There were 8 wonderful flies traded in the most recent About fly swap. I feel very privileged to have once again hosted a swap where all of the tiers are obviously skilled and have a passion for fly tying!

The third fly swap here at About has been named the UNI swap because of the fact that Jean-Guy Cote, the President of UNI Thread, graciously and generously offered to sponsor the event and provided a nice package of products to each of the participants. Not only did each swapper receive some excellent flies, they also received spools of fly tying thread, yarn, tinsel and more from Mr. Cote. I would like to express my appreciation to UNI for their assistance. Thanks, Jan Guy! 🙂

Another noteworthy bit of information - two of our participants, Michael Hawkins and Jack Soape have participated in all three of our swaps thus far. Must be something special in that Texas air (water?) considering both live in the Lone Star State. Thanks so much, Mike and Jack! I really appreciate your ongoing participation.

We also enjoyed participation from across the Atlantic as well, with Graeme Callander of Scotland sending along Clan Chief Variants, a fly that Graeme offers to brown trout in Shetland lochs.
