For the second time, the Welsh Salmon and Trout Angling Association will be hosting the "Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championships" in Wales, UK. This year's Commonwealth event will be held June 22 to 27, 2010, near the towns of Rhayder and Llandrindod Wells. According to the Secretary of the WSTAA, Moc Morgan, "The competition venues offer some outstanding opportunities for the discerning fisher with an abundance of wild brown trout, rainbows and grayling."

In organizing this event, the WSTAA is working with the Angling Associations of Rhayader, Builth Wells, Clywedog and Tal-y-Llyn Lake. The headquarters for the Competition will be The Metropole Hotel in town of Llandrindod Wells.
