I wish I had read Lake Fly Fishing Strategies before I arrived in Grande Prairie to participate in the Canadian Fly Fishing Championships of 2007 when all the venues were lakes/stillwaters. Hook, Line and Thinker
Coarse, sea and fly fishermen are in the same boat when angling as such is attacked from animal rightists and anti-anglers. Anti-anglers are gaining momentum again in the wake of the animal rights crusade and the anti-hunting campaign. "Hook, Line and Thinker" is the first book to systematically debunk the specious anti-angling arguments and to make a case for all angling. The website supplies information and comments touching on questions of animal rights and anti-angling. There is a guestbook and if anglers or clubs feel they need guidance on anti-angling questions they can mail the author.
